Striking green frosted glass perfume bottle and a retro pair of Donald J. Pliner sunglasses from the estate of the beloved Golden Girls star.  The perfume bottle, a striking jade color, is decorated with figural etchings on the glass and gold-tone cover that connects to an atomizer, while the sunglasses feature a metallic animal print.  Both in fine condition.  Perfume bottle measures 2 x 4.3 inches (4.5 x 11 cm.).

Rue McClanahan was a stage and television actress most beloved for her role as diva Blanche Devereaux on The Golden Girls (1985-1992), a performance that won her an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series in 1987.  McClanahan began her career in the 1950s as a New York stage actress, transitioning to television after being cast by Norman Lear in two of his sitcom series, All in the Family (1971-1979) and Maude (1972-1978).
