Publisher's binding, dust jacket, housed in a limited edition plexiglass slip box with copper relief sculpture reproducing a design by Picasso, stamped # 37 /100 to cover. Laid in is Les Saltimbanques ,1958 lithograph reproduced here from the one originally published by Mourlot, Paris. 14 1/2 x 11in (37 x 28cm.). Some rubbing and moderate wear to jacket; plexiglass case with interior crack to lower holding track, staining to rear blank panel, else fine. Rare. Only one copy recorded at auction (Sotheby's, 1986) in the past 40 years.
