Memoir of the noted fashion columnist and editor who served as fashion editor of Harper's Bazaar and editor-in-chief of Vogue. Boldly signed and dated: "Diana Vreeland / 1984" on the half-title. From the collection of fashion journalist June Weir and sold together with a group of programs, clippings and other materials kept inside the book by Weir. 196 pp. 8vo. Hardcover. June Weir's name and address are penned on the decorative front free endpaper. One page spread with a few words of underlining in red ink. Overall very good.

The additional materials include: an invitation to a private sale of photographs, drawings, and memorabilia from the collection of Diana Vreeland by Gunson & Turner Books, addressed to June Weir and together with a hand-written invitation to cocktails; a menu from the gala dinner honoring Vreeland at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on December 7, 1987; a program from the 1993 opening of "Diana Vreeland: Immoderate Style" at the Metropolitan Museum of Art; a Playbill from the 1996 New York production of Full Gallop, the one-woman play about Vreeland; several newspaper clippings about Vreeland; and promotional materials from Knopf related to the book.
