Pink beaded concert gown, from the estate of Jazz legend, Ella Fitzgerald. With certificates from Bumps Gallery of Beverly Hills which handled much of her personal estate.
The impresario of fashion and Hollywood style, Don Loper, made his movie debut as Ginger Rogers's dancing partner in “Lady in the Dark” in 1942. But he moved from dancing to choreography, set and costume design and soon was making clothes for such film stars as Marlene Dietrich, Joan Crawford, Lana Turner and Claudette Colbert. His clothes were typical of old-time Hollywood glamour and, as in this example from the wardrobe of Ella Fitzgerald, had a penchant for sequins.
