Inscribed on the front free endpaper to fashion historian June Weir: "1983 / To: June / From: YSL / What a Great Exhibit!!" Hardcover, 192 pp. Contains essays by Saint Laurent, Diana Vreeland, René Huyghe, Pierre Bergé, Paloma Picasso-Lopez, Marella Agnelli, Catherine Deneuve, Duane Michals, Pierre Boulat, and Nicholas Vreeland, as well as many photographs throughout of the retrospective exhibition of Saint Laurent's designs. Some light shelf wear to the dust jacket, but overall very fine. Together with a group of clippings and notes kept inside the book by June Weir, including an autograph note from Saint Laurent ("With all my love / Yves") dated March 25, 1987, photocopies of the dictionary definitions of "style" and "stylish", various newspaper and magazine clippings about Saint Laurent, a copy of a press wire reporting Saint Laurent's "comments on [clothing] length", a catalogue of an exhibition of Saint Laurent's work at the Palace of Fine Arts in Beijing, 1985, and two photographs.

From the collection of fashion historian and journalist June Weir-Baron (1928–2015), the first woman Vice President at Fairchild Publications, a major force in her capacity as Fashion Editor and Assistant publisher of Women's Wear Daily and W. She made news as key editor at Vogue, as Executive Fashion Editor at Harper's Bazaar, deputy Style Editor for The New York Times Sunday Magazine and Contributing Editor at Mirabella.
